'portegrandi' boat
2018-ongoing
mantova
After the success of Ave Maria Boat, which connects weekly Mantua to Venice with bike+boat vacations, Portegrandi has been designed to connect Venice with Treviso, Grado, and the the Marano lagoon. The river ship, under construction at the Sogemi shipyard in Mantua, is 6.20 meters wide, 35.50 meters long, with 12 guest cabins. Its size, as well as its name “Portegrandi” owes it to the 17th-century locks, connecting the Sile river to the Venice Lagoon.
