Experience and exposure for the Manfrotto tripods

This 2016 edition Photokina booth has been design for the Manfrotto group.

Manfrotto designs, manufactures, and distributes a wide range of professional camera and lighting mounts for the photography, video, cinema and entertainment markets.

The exhibition space can be distance recognized for the ManfrottoTheater tower, a specific display area dedicated to the visitors’ experience: video mapping, virtual reality and sound environment.

Around the tower are organized the different Group brands display, including Gitzo, Manfrotto, Lastolite.

 
A dedicated exhibition: tripods, heads and photographic accessories

The Manfrotto display area was organized into three different exhibition levels:

  • test, a wall recessed display area where visitors can experience the tripods and heads range
  • new product, raised hexagonal platforms in the center of the exhibition space
  • digital director, a CNC milled timber and aluminium plan including self-moving car robots, for real time video shooting with specific Manfrotto’s video supports

The stand space is completed by a rear space dedicated to photographic bags display, bar, meeting rooms and storage.

 
A generative space, using Voronoi

The exhibition space is modulated according to the different display and dimensional needs of the products, following the mathematical geometry of Voronoi cells.

Voronoi diagram is a particular type of space fragmentation, where for each generative seed there is a corresponding region which consists of all the points closest to that seed than to any other.
