robotica

2017
brendola

The firm Robotica. based in Brendola, is the new division of Salvagnini Group dedicated to the development and production of super-automated press brakes and robotic applications connected to them.

It is a new production plant, 8 km from the Group’s Headquarters, characterized by 4,000 sqm of production area and 600 sqm of offices.

A digital production building process

The new office design followed a digital production process: the various components, assembled on site, have been designed to the scale of executive detail and prefabricated by local companies and also by Salvagnini’s machines, with the precision guaranteed by digital control systems.

In addition to a quality of building construction, this approach allows an improved cost control and a time compression in the renovation and furnishing of this office building.

The project focus on the building’s visual and energy potential

The renovation of the office building was designed to enhance the building’s visual, energy potential and to maximize the well-being of future users.
The building’s facade is modulated by its perforated surface, which controls sunlight entry into the work spaces, allowing to enjoy the view of external landscape. It also enables to recognize the building from the main road.

The facade is made up of 64 aluminum panels with a 4mm thickness and a dimension of 3000×1500 mm, processed automatically by Salvagnini’s laser cutting, punching and bending technologies. Each module has different design to respond specifically to solar needs, and to give a different visual transparency according to its position.
