nuvola rossa

2014 – 2019
hannover – stoccarda – milano

Nuvola Rossa is the display project developed for the 2014-2019 major European trade fair events of the Salvagnini Group.

a multimedia and flexible stand

The design concept is aimed at:
• strong iconicity and remote recognition of Salvagnini spaces within the fair pavilions
• macro display backdrops for the Salvagnini machines
• graphic and video communication support
• integrated lighting and engineering systems

a customized structural system

Nuvola Rossa structure is self-supporting with an adjustable height 6 to 8 meters, its span can cover surfaces up to 1200 square meters.
Its construction system was specifically developed for Salvagnini: the structure consists of a rental modular trussing skeleton, supported by a system of mechanical connecting pillars, with a double textile skin covering.
The large textile surfaces are made up of pvc based digital prints, tensioned on a specific detail system made with laser-cut 8 mm metal-sheets, anchored with clamps to the trussing frames.

Industry 4.0 and sharing spaces

Inside the “cloud” structure the main stand functions are:
• the display of Salvagnini’s industry 4.0 systems where different working stations, connected by self-guided trolleys organize the client customized production.
• the bar and tables area
• the offices and warehouses two storeys block.
• the modular prefab meeting rooms
• the reception, demo-software and virtual reality spaces

The stand was designed to be modular and flexible, adapting to different stand configurations of Euroblech, Blech Expo and Lamiera between 2014 and 2019.
